The location worked well for us, near Taebaeksan National Park and only a short drive from town. Room size, amenities, cleanliness and Wi-Fi were all satisfactory. I had trouble getting useful information about Taebaek because the receptionist spoke limited English, and I couldn’t find English brochures. There’s no restaurant at the hotel, food options nearby are limited, and guests have to sort out their own breakfast.

It’s a good spot for a quiet mountain break away from the city, with good service and a convenient location. There isn’t a good restaurant nearby or easy access to the city, though the hotel did provide a complimentary taxi drop-off.
