The place is so close to the bus and train station and some Taebaek attractions, which is its one plus. There are no beds, so you sleep on the floor, and the water was lukewarm at best.

The guest room is spacious and clean, but you can hear too much from the hallway and neighboring rooms.

The rooms are clean after a recent remodel, and the separate outdoor parking lot is handy. It's in the middle of the motel district, and this is my usual place when I visit Taebaek.
