YAJA - Tongyeong Ferry Terminal

Good place.

I was surprised by how nicely breakfast was put together, since I hadn't expected much. The rooms are clean and cared for, and the staff are friendly. Check-in at 4 a.m. was a bit disappointing, but the 11 a.m. checkout and breakfast made up for it. It works well for couples or families of up to four, and the passenger terminal is very close.

The rooftop sunrise was beautiful, and breakfast came free with the stay. There was ramen, rice, bread, baked eggs, fried items, drinks, and coffee, which I really appreciated. I was concerned about fitting six adults, including my parents-in-law and my younger sibling and their spouse, but the room was spacious. It was warm, and the bed had plenty of room too.

The location and parking lot are good, and the place was clean and hygienic. But the more I expected, the more disappointed I felt, even allowing for the low price. The bed springs were plainly visible, so I slept with my own travel blanket laid over the duvet. The bidet was broken, and parking is limited to one space per room. Breakfast was just fried rice, and it had run out. When I asked about it that morning, the staff gave me a look that made me feel I shouldn't expect more at that price. I didn't take a photo of the pool, but the facilities felt about on the level of a small public bathhouse.
