Duplex Pension

The area is quiet, and so is the pension, even though it’s in Goseong. The clear water and peaceful beach were lovely, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid crowds. I was happy with the value and ocean view. I arrived too late to use the tub, but it would be nice to look out at the sea from it. The hard bed was the only thing I could call a downside, though I slept well enough. Charging my phone was awkward because there were no outlets near the bed. The shower was inconvenient since I had to hold it while washing my hair, and the hair dryer was extremely weak. There were also lots of notices telling guests what not to do. Maybe people often ignore basic rules, but it didn’t sit well with me. I tried to focus on the good price, but...

The neighborhood has a quiet, old-fashioned feel, and I enjoyed a lovely morning view of the sea with my friends. It took about 20 minutes to drive to Sokcho Central Market, as I recall. Since the area isn’t built up like a typical tourist destination, this suits people looking for a peaceful stay.

I went on a weekday in March 2024 and paid 90,000 won in cash. The view was great and everything was clean, though there was a problem with the hot water.

The room was clean and the view was really nice. I was pleased with the stay, except the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the amenities were sparse. There wasn't any bottled water or a toothbrush :)
