Goseong 2U Pension

The room was clean, the ocean was right outside, and the female owner seemed nice. Still, I won't be coming back. The owner was warm toward the person who booked, but didn't greet me at all when I arrived with them. I asked about the cocktails by pointing to the menu picture since I don't know much about them. He said it was only an image and he didn't know what they were. I'd seen another customer drinking one at the barbecue area the day before, so it felt like he was pretending not to know. I wondered if he was treating me differently, and it really upset me.

For my first trip to Goseong, I found a place that was warm, clean, quiet, and had a lovely ocean view. There are water dispensers on every floor, and they gave us free cocktails and cup noodles too. The price was good, and the service and friendly owner made it feel like great value. I was 200% satisfied, or 1000% ready to come back. I’d stay here whenever I visit Goseong, except when I’m traveling with my dog, since pets aren’t allowed. If I could bring my dog, I’d be here often.

I travel around the country looking for places with sea views, and it’s hard to find somewhere this peaceful with a great sunrise view. The sea is literally right outside, and the waves sounded so vivid through the night that it felt like sleeping in a tent by the water, with surround sound. It’s a real hidden gem I almost want to keep to myself♡. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly, and they even served complimentary cocktails. I didn't feel like leaving, and just wanted to stay in and look at the sea. It was my first visit, and I booked another stay on checkout day.

Both places have a great ocean view, but the atmosphere at 2U Pension won me over. It’s smaller than CL178 next door, which is bigger and on a larger scale, and the owner there didn’t seem very friendly. At 2U Pension they make cocktails and give you cookies when you leave. If I come back, this is where I’d stay again ❤️
