The place was pretty and well maintained, but the charges and restrictions were frustrating. Standard occupancy is two, so even booking the largest room means an extra fee from the third person, and that charge is high compared with other places. At 7 p.m. they put a tarp over the in-room jacuzzi and told us not to use it. I was puzzled that we couldn’t use the guest room pool, even though it wasn’t shared. The charcoal fee was too expensive as well.

The bedding was clean, and going in the off-season meant it was quiet and good value. The charcoal for BBQ preparation cost 30,000 won, and each additional person was 20,000 won.

I was worried about the cold weather, but the owner had warmed the room before we arrived, so my daughter and I had a comfortable rest. I hadn’t packed enough, and the owner's wife thoughtfully helped us out. I’m grateful for her kindness. My daughter had such a good time jumping rope that she didn’t even notice the cold.

We paid 250,000 won for two people, then settled another 30,000 won on site because there were three of us. Grilling meat at the barbecue area cost 20,000 won for the charcoal setup. They had plenty of towels, and we came away with really nice memories.
