We stayed here during our cross-country cycling trip. The room was clean, and the staff were kind. A perfect stop for us.

The rooms have a lovely river view, especially at night, and the interior is clean with good heating. There’s plenty of parking, though the entrance to the building is very narrow, so be careful driving in. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the owner is friendly. You can choose a shower with either a standing area or a bathtub. The room fridge came with two cans of soda and three bottles of water. Hot water was always available and came through quickly, which made a morning shower easy.

I booked because of the name, New York Hotel, since I live in New York, and ended up really disappointed. The bedding was dirty and there was dust on the floor. I could barely sleep. Absolutely not.

The facilities are dated, but the view is really lovely.
