Yangpyeong The Terrace Hotel

It’s a duplex with massage chairs, which is nice, and it’s an unmanned motel rather than a hotel. I came hoping to enjoy the open-air bath in winter, but they said no. ㅠ

The rooms are spacious and the bathtubs are long, so it’s good value. The view of the Namhan River is partly blocked by the buildings across the road, so it isn’t breathtaking. Getting used to the unmanned hotel took a little while, but after that I was fine.

I found this while searching for somewhere with a nice view, and was happy with my choice. The unmanned setup was really well equipped, and I liked not having to see anyone during the stay. The bedding and sofa were well made, and there was a toilet, shower, and bathtub. The whole place is a duplex. Downstairs had a sofa, massage chair, shared microwave for snacks, and TV. Upstairs, reached by stairs, had a bed, bathroom, shower, bathtub, outdoor terrace, and another TV. It seemed roomy enough for several people. The big tub could be used as an outdoor hot spring at night, which felt refreshing. I’m making great memories here. Great value and atmosphere, highly recommend. ^^

I needed a place for one night near Bloomvista for an event there, and booked through Naver because this was only a 5-minute walk away and had good reviews. It was a weekday, and when I called to ask about a room, they even upgraded me. I had a very comfortable stay in the duplex room with a massage chair. The room was really great.
