Hotel My Danny

The beach is clean, and if you don’t like crowded places, I can’t think of a better spot. Hajodae, the surfing mecca that’s trending right now, is only 2 kilometers away, so it’s handy for surfing and enjoying the hot spots. The scenery around the accommodation is beautiful, and getting there by road is easy. The price isn’t cheap, but I think it’s reasonable. Yangyang is a military area, so there’s a barbed wire fence right in front. I actually find that reassuring for security. The fence closes after sunset, so you can’t stay by the sea late, but that works well for families. Breakfast wasn’t listed as included when I booked, but they do provide a light breakfast for free.

Anyone who remembers the old My Danny might be really disappointed here. The beach camper vans are gone, and although they remodeled, the interior is a complete disaster. The included breakfast aside, the service feels like an ordinary motel. I heard the owner has changed.

Every visit feels healing, and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms, the owner, and the service all earn top marks from me.

It’s quiet and right by the sea, which I liked. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious.
