It’s right by the beach, and the location is good, but the price feels a little high. There’s no dedicated parking, so I had to park on the street. Inside, it was clean but so dry that I woke up with a sore throat. The refrigerator was very loud, and the sink was so small I could only wash my hands. ㅜ

The beach is peaceful, a good place to sit and think. Just don’t expect much nearby: there aren’t raw fish places by the main entrance, and there’s not really anywhere good to grab food or a drink. It’s about 10 kilometers from Jumunjin Port, tucked away. The spa is a nice touch, though the place feels more like a motel than a hotel. The dim lighting seems intentional, but I wish it were brighter. You can’t see the ocean from the main entrance because buildings block it, haha.

The bedding was comfortable, and the room at Homegu Hotel had a stylish interior. But cleanliness was really poor. There was dust built up on the vanity chair, and the towels had hair and clumps of dust on them. Make sure to clean your key card too, it was extremely dirty.

There’s lots of space in the room, and being right across from the beach is a big plus.

The facilities are great, although the price is high. On the third floor there’s a large bathtub, which was just what I wanted to warm up in after surfing.
