Prince Hotel

There’s no breakfast. It’s a nice place to stay for a day while enjoying the Dinosaur Festival. The mattress was hard, and I was disappointed by the cleanliness. The sewer smell was strong, though it didn’t bother me in the room.

After a night at the hotel, I wanted to share how lovely the morning walk was. Maybe the rain the day before made the farmland and scenery across from the hotel especially nice when I got up early. I wandered along the field path for exercise, took some photos, and ended up walking for quite a while because I was so taken with the surroundings. It’s a great place to stay in Goseong, and lots of guests come through. The owner mentioned making a generous donation.

The room was clean and the price reasonable, and the family who seem to run the front desk were friendly. The exterior was a little disappointing. I took off a star because I worried it might give visitors too high an expectation.

We stayed one night for the Dinosaur Expo, and being able to buy discounted expo tickets made it even better. It’s popular with families and has a large parking lot; Goseong Market is under 2km away. We walked into town for a raw fish meal, then walked back. A simple cereal and bread breakfast is provided. The place accepts Zero Pay, which gets you a 10% discount, and you can book by phone. A room with one double and one single bed costs 70,000 won on weekends. The facilities are a bit dated and the windows rattle when opened or closed, but for the room condition and price, it’s fine. It’s reasonably priced and well suited to families. If you’re not too sensitive to the building’s condition, I’d recommend it. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Goseong.
