There’s no regular hotel service to expect here. The only contact is with the front desk, and communication is limited by the language barrier.

It’s a clean, studio-style residence, but I got towels and pillows that smelled really sour, maybe because they were the wrong items. That put me off enough that I won’t come back.

Breakfast was included, which was handy. The room was on the small side, though the bed was comfortable. From the sea-view rooms you can see both the ocean and the neighborhood, and the views from the 20th-floor cafe and 21st-floor pool are great too. The building is newly built.

The air is clean and there are plenty of shops nearby, though the neighborhood itself isn’t very big. It’s a new building, and I’m happy with everything. For hot water, I think you need to switch on the water heater beneath the sink.

The breakfast was clean and tasty, even if the choices were limited. There aren’t many places to eat nearby because the area is mostly about nightlife. The ocean view is amazing, and it’s a great base for surfing or going to a pickup bar, but unless that’s part of your plan, the loud singing and dancing can make it hard to sleep past 2 AM.
