The owner was incredibly kind, and the room was in good shape. I had to book in a hurry and wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be spacious for a room meant for four.

There are lots of new places to eat nearby now, from barbecue spots to all kinds of other restaurants. You can also walk to breakfast places that open early. It's been a while since I last stayed, and the upper-floor views are great, with clean facilities too.

The construction site right beside the hotel does make some noise, though... The facilities are clean, the place is well looked after, and the owner is friendly.

For a solo stay, I'd pick Owol Motel over Sun Valley Hotel. The rooms are clean, and it's not tucked away somewhere remote, with convenience facilities close by. You get things hotels don't have, including computers, welcome drinks, amenities, and Netflix. It costs half as much, so I don't see a reason not to come.

The place is clean and roomy, and its exterior looks like the most modern one around here. Weekends are almost always fully booked. The vending machine takes cash only, and I bet it has more money in its stomach than I do in my bank account.
