The kitchen team clearly puts care into making the food tasty and healthy. The staff are friendly, and I'm always glad to stay here. A great stay.

The owner was welcoming, and breakfast comes with coffee and toast. They sometimes offer other food too, so it's worth checking. The facilities are quite old, but the water gets wonderfully hot.

I stayed for one night at short notice, and the old hotel was fine for that. The exterior seemed clean, though I found dust and hair on the bed, maybe because it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. The heating was running and I couldn't work out how to change it, so I was unbearably hot in the early winter.
