Goodstay Opera Motel

The kids even said, "They're so kind!" The owners are incredibly friendly, and the bedding was spotless. The motel feels a little old, but they do their best to keep it clean. We stayed in a traditional Korean room. There's a large parking lot, but no bathtub. Discount stores, convenience stores, and various bars are nearby. A taxi from Romantic Pojangmacha costs between 4,000 and 6,000 won.

We came to Yeosu for a family trip without booking a place to stay first. Luckily, there was a room available, so we booked two nights. The staff were kind, and the room was nice and spacious. I'd like to come back.

The room was cold, and when I asked about the heating, they said it would warm up if I leaned forward. I thought that was all there was to it, but the temperature stayed at 20 degrees until morning. I nearly froze, and without the electric blankets on the bed, I would've been in real trouble. The fridge was completely out of water, and they only brought some after I called. It's an old, remodeled motel with no bathtub, a small room, and a 32-inch monitor for a TV. It felt almost like a Gwigok Mountain Lodge, and it wasn't cheap either, at 50,000 won for a weekday stay. They have coffee, but it isn't in stick form, so you have to stir it with a bag. I went after seeing "Where Are We Going?" and think the reviews may have been left by part-timers. This is the worst place. If you're going to Yeosu, I highly recommend it. Don't be fooled by the photos or reviews.

The staff were very friendly, and it was nice to have breakfast available. I'd definitely like to come back next time.
