I chose the superior room with a balcony. The rooms are a little dated, but they were fine, and we had no noise issues during our low-season visit. I liked that there was no Cesco air freshener smell and that we could open the doors for fresh air. Staying in a hanok was a cool experience, and I’d consider coming back if a couple of things changed. The floor mats were much too thin for sleeping. I’ve stayed in hanoks with more comfortable bedding, and I couldn’t get comfortable here. Please provide thicker floor bedding. Also, in the middle of winter, the heating system wouldn’t let us set the temperature below 25C. The warmth got trapped under the blankets and mat, and we were all too hot. Guests should be able to turn it down. Checkout at 11 a.m. also felt early. Noon would be better.

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay, with ocean views from the deck and windows, including both sunrise and sunset. The traditional furniture and closet gave us plenty of space, and the room had heated floors, a nice shower, and a bidet in the water closet. There was extra floor bedding for our additional guests. The floral satin bedding had a sheet underneath, and the feather pillows were soft. We also liked the low tables and floor cushions for eating or playing games. The Korean traditional hotel is beautifully made and cared for, with wonderful service and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

A beautiful place to stay in town, and affordable too. The rooms are all in traditional Korean Hanok style. Highly recommend.

The ocean view was mesmerizing, and the room service stood out most. The staff were the best I’ve come across, and breakfast was simple but satisfying. The rooms seem to have been renovated quite a while ago, but they’re clean and not cold despite the Hanok structure. Each room has air conditioning. A few more lights around the place would be nice, though it was still comfortable.
