Breakfast was included, and the owner was friendly. The room was clean, too, and they had all the everyday necessities stocked. I was in Yeosu for a business trip, and the location worked out well. It was convenient for getting in shape.

It was clean and pleasant, without the heavy air freshener smell some hotels use to cover things up. There was a ramen bar downstairs in the basement, and they even provided perfume in the room, a thoughtful touch.
For 50,000 won, breakfast came with the room, so I had no complaints. The room was clean and the shower pressure was strong. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Yeosu.
There’s plenty to snack on and do here. The lobby has a beverage fridge, brewed coffee, and snacks, while the basement ramen bar has over 10 varieties and lets you help yourself to ramen with dumplings, rice cakes, cheese, and more. Toast, cereal, and ice cream are available too. They’ve also got board games and comic books, so you can hang out, eat and drink while playing. Great value, and it made for a satisfying stay.
The room was quiet, clean, and I slept well. The owner was friendly, and I was surprised to find hoteok in the room. Yeosu Yam Hotel is a bit far from the romantic pocha by taxi, but there are lots of food alleys just across the crosswalk, so there’s no need to go all the way there. A round trip to the romantic pocha costs over 20,000 won, so it’s nice to eat something tastier nearby instead.
