The glamping site looked lovely, the facilities were excellent, and it was clean. The owner was kind too. But the noise made me decide I probably wouldn't return. There were so many cats around. The owner said they were strays that kept coming back despite efforts to keep them away, and that they were only asking for food, but there were just too many. As you'd expect with glamping, you also have to put up with the wind rattling early in the morning. The roosters were the worst part. They crowed constantly at dawn. I'd had a drink the night before and wanted to sleep in, but there was no getting away from the noise. Lots of people in the other tents said they hadn't slept well either because of the crowing. I kept saying I wanted to wring those roosters' necks.

The tent was warm and cozy even in winter, when it was cold and the sea breeze was strong. Being right by the beach gives the place a lovely atmosphere, and the owner is very friendly.

We visited in winter, so the swimming pool wasn't available to us. Geumhodo is one of seven glamping units, positioned by the pool near the entrance. The sea is right in front, making it atmospheric, and the sunset is beautiful. There's nowhere nearby for amenities, though. The facilities are generally good, and the owner is friendly. The dishes and bedding were in very good condition. The bedding felt fresh and fluffy, with no greasy feel or musty smell. Hot water worked well in both the kitchen and bathroom. The electric panel floor heating depends on how you adjust it. The fan heater is small and doesn't have much power, and the older induction cooktop is also a bit weak. The bathroom is narrow, so showering can be awkward. You can barbecue right outside the tent, but cats may come right beside you while you're grilling. Keep in mind that early morning noise from cats fighting or dogs barking could bother you if you're sensitive to sound.
