Yeosu Paradise Spa Pension

I stayed at HS Tourist Hotel from July 12th to July 15th, 2024. There were small bugs on the floor in our first room, so the staff moved us to another one. My son's MacBook went missing during that room change, and we didn't notice until we'd moved on to a hotel in Seoul. We contacted HS Tourist Hotel several times from the 16th to the 18th, but they said they hadn't found a MacBook left behind. After we got back to the USA, I emailed the hotel on the 20th and asked them to check the CCTV. They apologized for the delay and told us they'd found the MacBook. I believed it had been found on the 12th but not reported because an employee was on vacation. I asked the hotel to send it to the USA and pay shipping, but they refused and requested call records with Agoda to confirm our conversation. Agoda customer service also said they couldn't help. As of July 23rd, my son still hasn't received his MacBook. Battery restrictions are holding up shipping, and it will take considerable time. I've been told I'll have to pay all the shipping costs myself. With the wait dragging on, I'm considering buying him a new MacBook. I'm extremely disappointed with the hotel's response and attitude. They should have notified us as soon as they found the computer, instead of only telling us after we asked them to check the CCTV. I hope nobody else has to go through something similar.
