Yeosu San Self Check-in Hotel

I paid 38,000 won with a coupon after a junior colleague who travels a lot recommended the place a few years ago. There's a massage machine in the bathtub and plenty of spare towels, but the cigarette smell hit me as soon as I walked in, and the bedding smelled of smoke too. It might be okay at a low price, but they don't allow re-entry.

The rooms are roomy and clean, and the massage chair and air purifier are nice to have. Parking is separate for each room, which makes things convenient. I did notice a faint cigarette smell. Nearby there are plenty of good places to eat, plus convenience stores, crab alley, and street food stalls.

For my 12-day business trip, the Stylus let me wear comfortable clothes every day, which was great. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and self-check-in comes with private parking. Some facilities had minor problems, but I had a pretty good stay overall. This feels more like a vacation spot than a business hotel. I only wish there'd been a coin laundry on site, since the laundromat is surprisingly far away.

For a night, prices in Yeosu are absurd, though these rooms for locals to use during the day (?) are fairly cheap, haha. The rooms are in relatively good shape compared with nearby motels. Hakdong, about 15 minutes away, is better value.
