Yongin Oscar

The cigarette smell in the room was overwhelming. It was clearly a non-smoking room, and there was no smoke smell in the lobby, but opening the bathroom door made it hit me straight away. If not for that bathroom odor, I’d want to keep coming back, but it was so strong I’d probably choose another hotel. Oscar Hotel is in downtown Yongin, convenient for Jungang Market and Everland. City and red buses run nearby, and Yongin Jungang Market Light Rail Station is close, so getting around by public transit was easy. There were plenty of franchises, cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores around. The lobby felt a little more upscale than a motel, and I was surprised there were two elevators. The bed, duvet, and pillows were fine. The 65-inch TV and automatic login for OTT services were handy. I watched Netflix, Tving, and Disney, though I was disappointed Coupang Play wasn't available. Even in a standard room, the massage chair and Styler made it feel a bit more luxurious. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and there's a bidet. Hot water, water pressure, and drainage were all fine, but a strange black stain came out of the bathtub, which was inconvenient.
