Ibis Sharq

Breakfast had a generous selection, including some lovely Egyptian and Indian specialties, and the chef and staff were very attentive. The hotel also has great views and was comfortable overall. The whole team were incredibly friendly, especially receptionist Mohammad. They seemed to have a “make you smile in 15 minutes” policy, and they dealt with any problems efficiently. A very nice hotel with an exceptional level of hospitality.

The practical room layout made the space feel cozy, even though the rooms aren’t especially large. Mine was modern, clean, and well maintained, with fresh bedding, the essentials, and reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a good start to the day, with fresh pastries, fruit, and hot dishes in a bright, comfortable dining area. The location in Salmiya is a real plus. ibis Kuwait Salmiya is near Al Fanar Mall, shops, cafés, and the marina, with Kuwait’s waterfront, malls, and restaurants easy to explore. Kuwait International Airport is about a 20-25 minute drive away. Staff were welcoming and polite, and made arrival and day-to-day interactions easy by going out of their way to help. I had a wonderful stay from start to finish, and would recommend it for business or leisure if you value comfortable rooms, a good breakfast, and a handy location.

I had a two-day business trip to Kuwait and would definitely recommend Ibis to anyone coming here. The breakfast was very good, and Sandeep, Eslam, Chef Ahmed, Chef Sharath, and the rest of the team made me feel warmly welcomed. It would be even better with a wider range of breakfast items.

Lawrence looked after us at the restaurant every evening for 12 days. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made dinner a pleasure. The whole team at Ibis Sharq Kuwait were welcoming, professional, and ready to help throughout our pleasant stay. Thanks for the hospitality. I’ll be glad to stay here again.
