It was okay.
We stayed for five nights after coming from Almaty. The hotel is very clean, the bed is comfortable, and breakfast is a full one. They provide all the toiletries, and the thoughtful setup includes plenty of outlets and handy towel dryers. There’s a desk in the room, which suits the business travelers who often stay here. The price is very reasonable, too. I’d recommend both the hotel and the area 🩵 The kitchen works well for using a laptop, with outlets and a lovely view from the window. Downstairs, there’s a good Lanzhou restaurant, tastier than the one in Almaty. Barkhan Burger and the Shum shopping center are nearby, as is the sea. Aktau sometimes has water problems, but this is one of the lower neighborhoods, so water is better here. Thanks to Zibagul for her hospitality 🫶🏻
It’s in a handy part of the city, near Akbota Park, the sea, and the embankment. You can go yachting or boating, and there are bus stops for different routes nearby. Shops and a grocery supermarket in the Alatau shopping center are close, too. A decent hotel, though lower prices and better soundproofing would be welcome.
There’s a cafe in the same building serving tasty food at low prices. This is a reasonably priced, no-frills budget hotel in the city center, convenient for business trips.
Our family loved it all. The hotel is super clean, the girls in the salon are friendly and professional, and the restaurant food is delicious. The kumyzkhana has excellent shubat and kumyz. I’d give it 10 stars.
