Tumar Hotel

I only had time to explore within about a 2-kilometer radius, so I didn't get to see the city center or its busiest streets. There isn't much to see nearby, though we did find what we needed and two good cafes. The hotel is in a residential area, which is its only downside for me. The room was basic but had the essentials: a shower, sink, toilet, refrigerator, closet, TV, air conditioning, and kettle. It was warm, clean, and free of odors, with crisp white linens. Even the cheapest room included toiletries and breakfast. Breakfast is a buffet with a limited selection, but everything looked nice and tasted good. If you're short on time and don't plan to spend your stay wandering around the center, this place works well. Thanks to all the hotel staff!

The hotel itself is cozy and pleasant, and breakfast is tasty. I do think the staff could use more training. I arrived around 7 or 8 in the morning, though I can't recall exactly, and had booked two nights. The receptionist handed me the keys and finished the paperwork, so I went to rest after my trip. At lunchtime, when I came out, I was told that checking in an hour early meant I would be charged for three nights instead of two, and had to pay for an extra day. Nobody had warned me about an early check-in charge when giving me the keys. Be careful. In my case, that problem was caused by one particular receptionist.

The room tables are old office furniture, and the bathroom shower curtain is very worn. Still, it's clean and affordable, the bathroom is decent, and it has all the basics.

The decor looks new, but the rest is only so-so. Breakfast doesn't start until 8:00 AM, and there's no buffet. Housekeeping is completely absent. It feels like they've cut corners everywhere.
