The staff made our first visit to the city feel easy. They helped us figure out where to go and even arranged a taxi, and were so welcoming it felt almost like being at home. The apartment is right in the center but tucked into a calm, quiet area. The Circus, metro, and amusement park are about a kilometer away, roughly a 10-minute walk or five minutes by taxi. Inside, it was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with what we needed for a comfortable stay. My one gripe is the bedding: it was ironed and folded neatly, but we had to make the bed ourselves.

The location is handy and the area is quiet, and the mattress was a plus for me since I like a firm bed. The apartment was generally clean, though the refrigerator smelled awful, almost as if a mouse had died in it. The kitchen and hallway were especially smoky, while the toilet was the cleanest area. It also gets quite cold in winter. For the price, it may suit business travelers or people who aren't fussy. Disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and toiletries aren't supplied. You can get a hairdryer, but need to ask the concierge ahead of time.

The location is a real plus, and the price is appealing for this part of town, especially for someone on a tight budget. The hostess also handled our cancellation fairly after we were unhappy with the place. Still, the listing on Booking.com didn't match what we found. The apartments are in a very old, two-story building and were in poor shape, needing renovation. The air felt heavy with smoke and dampness. The manager said renovations were planned and that the situation was temporary.
