We rented an apartment through this company from October 2 to October 8. I’ve never experienced such rude treatment, and we rent through Booking.com in different countries fairly often. The apartment was clean and well kept at first. Then one evening, while I was home alone in the shower, the administrator, Elvira, showed up with a repairman to inspect the radiators and started coming in without warning or calling first. When I asked why, Elvira said something along the lines of, “Well, the repairman is here now, where am I supposed to look for him?” I asked them to come back later and give me notice, but she ignored me and let him in while my underwear, jewelry including wedding rings, and appliances were all clearly visible. After a while, they simply left. People can judge Elvira’s conduct and judgment for themselves. The contract says in clause 3.4, “The Landlord is not responsible for the Tenant's property located in the Apartment.” If I hadn’t been there while Elvira was barging in, nothing would have stopped her from entering with another stranger. It makes even leaving socks there feel scary, because anything could happen to them, which the contract seems to imply. This wasn’t my first time renting an apartment by the day. Over the years I’ve had showers break and toilets stop flushing, among other things. Every time, the owners asked when it would be convenient to come fix the problem. Some even offered to come when I wasn’t there. No normal person would put up with this kind of mess from administrator Elvira.
