Atakent Hostel (Atakent Hostel)

For 18,000 Tenge, two nights in a four-person dormitory is excellent value. The mattress is a bit hard, but the place seems very clean. There’s no breakfast, though there is a kitchen and four washing machines. I heard each use costs 3,000 Tenge. To find it, enter the Best Western Atakent Hotel and leave through the exit. The hotel front desk staff can kindly point the way if you have trouble. Update: I’m changing my review because of how badly a middle-aged woman on the night shift handled things. On my first day I was given just one towel, so I asked her for another the next day. She simply said no, that it wasn’t possible. When I brought my used towel and asked to exchange it, she refused again and said she’d do it the next day, on checkout day. She was insensitive and unfriendly, and because of this employee I don’t want to visit again.

I’ve stayed at this hostel before, and everything has been top-notch each time. It’s clean, all the things are new, and the staff are great. When I come for exhibitions, I can stay comfortably here without overpaying for accommodation.

Everything is tidy in this very cool, clean hostel. The toilets and showers are wonderful, and the reception is great too. Definitely a place to stay.
