Beles Aparts Aparthotel

We were a family of six and booked two rooms, a standard room and a quadruple room for my sons. Our last room wasn’t ready because its air conditioner didn’t work. We spent the whole first night trying to get it fixed, and it was sorted the next day. The rooms on the fourth floor where we stayed were spacious and had clean furniture. Breakfast was simple: egg, salad, cheese and toast, plus oat dessert in a bowl, a croissant, and juice. There’s no elevator, and the long stairs were hard to manage, especially with rooms on the fourth floor. No porter was available, so my older sons had to carry all six of our bags up and down. Rooms also lacked a phone to call reception and tissues, though we contacted reception by WhatsApp instead. The walls don’t block sound well. One neighbor was loud every night, and even after we told reception, we couldn’t sleep properly until they left two nights later. The hotel is far from shops and main facilities, though it’s near the significant Almaty site Kok Tobe. Wi-Fi was very good, and rooms had a microwave, fridge, and kettle. Reception staff rotate every 24 hours; most tried to help. Nurai and Nazar were particularly respectful and polite, and spoke English, which made communication easier. We enjoyed the last three days of our stay, thanks.
