The rooms were nice and clean, though construction noise could be heard. A noise-cancelling headset took care of it. They provide a towel, toothbrush, and shampoo for the shower, which was nice. I'd stay again. It cost 25€ for 3h as of May 2026. Important: it's inside the terminal but BEFORE security. My translation tool got that wrong, and it turns out the place isn't after security, so don't pass through security for your flight.

We had a six-hour layover in Almaty in the middle of the night and were able to rest before our next long flight. It was clean and comfortable, and really useful when you only have a short time between flights.

The receptionist was helpful and guided me to the location on WhatsApp. The capsule beds are spacious and have basic facilities, so it's a nice place to rest during a layover. It's at the far corner of the international airport terminal on the ground floor, which they call the first floor here.

The beds are very hard and there's no soundproofing, and the facilities at Capslock could definitely be improved compared with capsule hotels at other airports. There's no toilet here, and just one shower for almost 20 capsules. I paid for a couple of hours but had to wait 30 minutes to get into the bathroom, only to find a small shower room with no hangers. For the toilet, you have to use the public airport facilities.

Really bad experience. Nothing in the capsule worked, not the electricity or the ventilation. It was like trying to sleep in a sauna.
