Уютная квартира на Арбате

This was my second time staying at Urban Yurt, Almaty, booked through Booking. The calm location is convenient for key places in the city, and the rooms feel comfortable and homelike. They’re clean and carefully designed, and the whole place has a cozy, modern style with a concept that stands out. The workers are warm, attentive, and ready to help with questions or requests. I really appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail. It’s a lovely choice for travelers who care about comfort, aesthetics, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d recommend it and would stay again :)

A simple, functional design, and one of the more unusual hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is amazing and the service was great. Having a clothes washer and dryer on each floor was a nice touch, and they’ve just opened a small coffee shop on the first floor. There’s no elevator in this five-level hotel, so you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs. Just something to know, it wasn’t a big deal for me. There also isn’t a traditional 24/7 front desk. Most communication is through WhatsApp, though the helpful, pleasant owner or manager is around too. I honestly couldn’t find a flaw. This deserves 6 stars all around.

Payment was the awkward part of my stay. There’s no staff stationed at the guesthouse, and they only stop by occasionally, so it was hard to meet them when travelers are usually out early and back late. I managed to pay at check-out, but the process wasn’t pleasant. An unmanned card payment option or payment through a platform like Agoda would be much easier. Apart from that, it’s a very nice, clean, traveler-friendly place in a convenient location. You can use most of the services, including a washer and dryer, luggage storage, an iron, kitchenware, and a water purifier. I’d definitely stay again.

The self check-in was clear and easy, which was especially convenient since my plane landed at night. Urban Yurt is in a great location, and the hotel is comfortable with all the amenities you need: a boiler, microwave, hairdryer, and washing machine with washing powder, among other things. The staff are warm and hospitable, and do everything they can to help. I had a wonderful stay. See you next time!
