The bathroom was broken and both it and the bedroom were filthy and in terrible condition. We also found bed bugs. We only stayed because hotels across Almaty were effectively fully booked, with so many Russians in town because of the war. It was a horrible hotel. If you can find anywhere else, don't even consider this place.

The hotel keeps getting worse. They’ve replaced the beds with low ones that aren’t comfortable to sleep in, and the TVs don’t work. If there are any TVs at all, the room price has gone up. At this point, it hardly matters.

We paid 12,000 rubles for a 12-hour stay, and nobody disturbed us. The room itself was disappointing, though. At least it came with disposable slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and there was a new kettle with mugs. The shower had no curtain.
