8/10
The room was quiet, with good soundproofing against the street and neighboring rooms, and we enjoyed the breakfast. There were a few frustrating details, though: just one set of towels for two people, nearly empty toilet paper, and sheets too small for the bed that kept coming loose. Still, the price felt fair for what we got.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful. It's a bit cut off, though, with not even an ATM or much choice of places to eat nearby.

The view from our second room was good, and the bed itself was fine, but the stay had plenty of snags. We had to climb 30 steep steps to reach the hotel, which was awkward with a child, and it's right by a busy highway. In the first room, the nightlight didn't work. The linen in the second room was dirty, though they replaced it without any trouble. The furniture is old, and the bathroom and toilet floors are slippery, so a rubber mat helps. The toilet paper was wet, so we bought our own. There was also a damp, tobacco smell in the room. The staff were helpful and breakfast was good, but the rooms could use renovation.
