Dilyana at reception deserves a lot of praise. She’s professional, attentive, pleasant, and beautiful, and she really tries to help guests. She speaks several languages, Chinese included, which deserves special recognition. The hotel is good, though its service still doesn’t fully meet international standards.

My card was charged the full reservation amount as a pre-authorization when I booked. Then, at check-in, I was charged that amount again, and the pre-authorized charge never came back to my card. This is a scam.

I spent two nights here and liked it. The water pressure was good, and the toilet was clean. The staff were generally okay and helpful, though I wouldn’t expect much hospitality. We needed Google Translate to communicate. I skipped breakfast because there are great cafes nearby, like Qulpynai. There are lots of places to eat around the hotel, including fried fish, bahandi, and a magnum express. There’s a boxing gym across from the hotel, so expect some noise at night.
