The one drawback is the treatment room, which is separated off with a curtain instead of a proper door. Still, I came back three times for massages focused on my back, and the therapist was very professional. The masseuses seemed to find the right muscle areas to ease the pain each time.

The studio has a really professional feel and a nice atmosphere. I went twice for a sports massage, and both sessions were fantastic. If you want deep work instead of someone gently stroking your back, this is the place.

After hiking at Big Almaty lake, I really needed a massage and was lucky to find this place. At 'Altant', Ms. Gauhar gave me a one-hour body massage, and she was very professional. She seemed to know exactly how to relax the muscles and help my body feel better. It was an amazing experience, and I felt much better afterward. I was unsure whether Google Maps had the location right, since it can be less accurate in Kazakhstan than yandex map or 2gis, but 'Altant' is exactly where Google shows it. If you can't spot the entrance, it's in my 3rd photo; the shop door is just to the right of the building reception desk. The price was very good too. I was really satisfied with Ms. Gauhar's scientific massage skill, and I think it was better than Thai massage. Thanks again, Ms. Gauhar!
