Sarayshyk Hotel

The pool was closed, and booking through WhatsApp turned out to be a bad deal. Staff themselves say it's cheaper on a site like Booking.com. I was quoted and confirmed for two nights there, but apparently the booking covered just one, and nobody told me. When we tried to add a night, only a suite was available. They offered no refund, just a discount on the suite. We paid €55 for that one night, instead of €38 on Booking for a basic room with a basic breakfast.

The room had a lovely old-fashioned feel, with wood paneling, detailed woodwork, antique-style furniture, brass fittings, and classic art. The lighting was soft, and the room was clean and well kept. It felt cozy and comfortable, with the older character balanced by modern comforts. You can tell care has gone into keeping that vintage look. A nice choice if you like a nostalgic, carefully designed space.

Dear Aru, The facilities didn't match what I'd seen on tourism sites and apps, so I was disappointed when I first arrived. But your effort changed my experience. I was impressed by how you handled different situations, even late at night, and by your dedication to the job. I tested your patience more than once, and you dealt with everything kindly and successfully. I truly appreciate how patiently and thoughtfully you addressed my concerns. The rooms were awful and the bathroom was very dirty. The receptionist in particular was rude, and the hospitality was broken right along with everything else. There's no swimming pool, despite the fake photos. They don't deserve even one star. If you book here, you may ruin your vacation.
