We ended up cancelling our booking and finding another hotel after waiting 20 minutes for a promised callback, tired and with our two little kids. Before our trip, we'd confirmed with the receptionist that a shuttle would pick us up at the airport, but none was there when we arrived in Astana. The receptionist, aka Jon Snow, seemed to know nothing and hung up on our first call. On the second call, after we gave the booking confirmation number, he promised to call back in two minutes. I wish I could give zero stars for this experience. The interior might be nice, but the service left a lot to be desired.

The air conditioning wasn't working, but they quickly brought us a fan. Staff were friendly, the amenities were good, and breakfast was decent.
