The location is a plus, only about five minutes from Astana Arena. The hotel itself is fine, but service could be better. There was only one person in the dining hall, and it was self-service.

Getting around was easy since it's between the airport and the city center, and the price was very reasonable. My room was clean, simple, and in good condition, and the staff were all so nice. The restaurant is small but decent. Breakfast had four choices, which worked well for me. When the server noticed I was awkward with a fork and knife, he brought chopsticks without me asking. That kindness really stuck with me. I had a very good stay and would come back. I'd recommend it to solo travelers or backpackers.

They charged me more than $25 to wash a small bag of laundry.
