Aner Hotel

After a long journey, we slept well in a quiet, spacious and cozy room. We arrived late at night, but the receptionists were there and got us checked in quickly. The furniture and fixtures were in good condition, and the door used a keycard. Breakfast could be ordered from a menu. It was a shame there was no kettle in the room, but the hotel exceeded our expectations.

The rooms are warm, and the hotel is nice, with friendly, polite staff. A couple of things let it down: the shower water tastes bitter and seems to run out after about five minutes. When I stayed a second time, there was no drinking water in the room. Even so, I recommend it.

The location is a bit far from the centre and not the most comfortable area. The rooms are spacious and clean, recently renovated, and the staff are helpful. But the hot water can switch between hot and cold, and the room itself is cool. There was a clogged sink, a slight swampy smell in the shower, and a robe with a torn or missing belt loop. Breakfast is the only food option, as there’s no room service. Once, staff asked what I wanted for breakfast and then brought something else.

The staff were polite and helpful, and breakfast came with a choice of porridge, sandwiches or pancakes. My room was clean and cozy, and everything matched the description. It’s a good hotel, and I’d stay there again.
