I was impressed by all the thoughtful touches in the room, from the shoe bench and shoe storage to a separate spot for luggage, plenty of outlets, a roomy cupboard, and hooks for bags and coats. It was exactly what we wanted: clean, with strong water pressure and a very comfortable bed.

It's a small, affordable hotel, and I had a nice stay. My bed and pillows were comfortable, the lighting was good, and the hot water came with good pressure. They brought a kettle when I asked, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. The old town sights are easy to get to, with lots of cafes and restaurants around; SPAR is a great supermarket just 200m away. One little thing that keeps coming up in comments: they don't provide water, and the hotel's own bottles cost a premium, so I bought mine at the supermarket. Thanks to all the staff.

It's a small place, so getting a room could be tricky during a busy week. The price is well above average, but I felt the Brown Hotel was worth it, with what you need for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It was quiet at night, though there aren't many places to eat close by. Keep in mind this is the old city, quite a walk from the new city.
