Hotel Duman

There are lovely parks, restaurants and shopping centres close by, and the prices are reasonable. The hotel has a restaurant, breakfast area, bar, sauna and gym. My room had everything I needed, and the place was clean. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. I’d happily stay here for a short visit or a longer one.

The breakfast looked appealing, but it left me with an upset stomach. Food I ordered arrived late and completely cold, as if it had been left sitting and forgotten. There also seemed to be communication problems among the staff, who came across as poorly trained and unmotivated. The building looks impressive, but the rooms were worn and very unclean, and the service was poor.

We loved our stay and will definitely return. The hotel was spacious, quiet, modern and impeccably clean, with very efficient staff. It had everything needed for a relaxing visit, and the shower booth was one of the best.

For a popular spot in a capital city, the price is very reasonable, and the hotel has a lot of style. It’s 20 stories tall, with glass elevators and striking architecture. The Apriori Centre has a wide range of facilities, including a pool, gym, restaurant, hairdressers and conference hall. The gym and Aqua pool were easy to access, and there are Turkish, Finnish and Russian saunas for both men and women. They provide plenty of tea supplies and toiletries. The lighting is a little dim, and city lights come through a few gaps in the otherwise substantial curtains, so the room doesn’t get fully dark. In winter it’s heated very well, but it can be hard to cool the room down enough for comfortable sleep, which didn’t help with jetlag. There was no kettle in my room. The hotel arranged my airport transfer well and was accommodating with requests.
