We stayed for seven nights and were glad we chose this place. It's an easy trip into the city centre by taxi or public bus, and we'd come back. The hotel looks modern and stylish, everything was clean, and our room was roomy enough with what we needed, including a big-screen TV. Housekeeping came every three days, which was fine with us. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly, though if you arrive late, sometimes not everything is left. For a budget hotel, it's very good value, and I understand they have to watch costs.

The room and breakfast were a letdown. It was tiny, with dated furniture and renovations, smelled of an old building, and didn't even have basics like napkins. Breakfast felt like a formality, with very little choice and no taste. The place is advertised as three-star, but it didn't meet that standard for me. I was there September 9-11, and the payment situation made the stay worse. Booking.com showed $73, but at arrival they asked for $83, saying the amount had been recalculated at the “current exchange rate” because payment hadn't gone through Booking. I hadn't been told about this. After a long trip, at 2 a.m., I was exhausted and they made me pay immediately. The receptionist wouldn't wait until morning. That kind of customer service is unacceptable.

The rooms were clean, but small and pretty mediocre, and breakfast wasn't much better. The staff didn't seem interested in making guests happy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was okay. The rooms are small but have the basics; they're not new, and the wallpaper in ours was torn. Parking was the bigger issue. We asked before booking and were told there was free private parking. On the first day we couldn't get the barrier opened, and the girl said someone had checked in, so we had to go find her. The next day there simply wasn't a space, and we drove around the courtyards trying to find somewhere to park.
