We accidentally booked a different hotel for our return to Astana, and we won't make that mistake again. Ramada is where we'll stay next time. It's close to the Ishim river promenade, the Concert hall, and the restaurants in Arbat.

I've worked in hotels for more than 11 years, and what matters most to me is a clean room. Mine was clean ❤️. The rooms are roomy, and the hotel as a whole is in good shape. The bar is great, and the freshly squeezed juices in the lobby bar are delicious. Staff at reception and in the laundry were polite, attentive, and efficient. Special thanks to the woman handling laundry: she picked up my bag very quickly, and express service took well under 3 hours. An extra bed had been set up for some reason, but it didn't bother us. It's not too far from the main attractions, though I wouldn't recommend walking there. Taxis are pretty cheap.

We arranged an airport transfer in advance and wrote ahead, but they made no effort. There was no early check-in either. If you're coming from the States, I'd skip this hotel.

The room had a lot of things broken, and there was no soap or shampoo, which isn't acceptable for a “4 star hotel.” The breakfast selection was very poor for a 4 star place too.
