The moon looks pretty good...
The renovation work is lousy and not worth what it costs. There are plenty of much nicer hotels.
About the teeth whitening clinic "Whitening Astana": scammers!!! I was drawn in by an Instagram ad offering whitening by 4 to 10 shades in one session for 12,000 tenge. But when I got there, it didn't work, and they pushed a 50,000 tenge treatment, saying it would definitely make my teeth bone white. I had a train to catch and was running late. I said no, but they kept telling me I'd make it and should go ahead, or I wouldn't be able to get whitening for a year. Once they saw I wasn't falling for it, they stopped replying. They also wouldn't send before and after photos, which makes it look like a scam. Before I paid, they answered within a minute. Now they've kept me waiting for days. In short, this is all a SCAM, DON'T FALL FOR IT. I have all the photos and screenshots of our conversations.
The outside looks lovely, but inside the complex feels very worn. The huge lobby shows signs of its former grandeur, yet needs maintenance. Elevators, stairs, and corridors all need updating. I also saw the utility rooms, and their condition looked questionable. It seems everything is being kept up just enough to stop it falling apart. With this approach, I think the complex will deteriorate further soon. Apartments here really do cost less to rent or buy than in any nearby complex, which is a warning about the property's condition.
