Renaissance Atyrau

We got there around 10:30 with our tour group and they let us check in early, which was really nice. The rooms are huge, the beds comfortable, and both the air conditioning and heat work. The place looks great, the staff are friendly, and there’s an amazing gym. Champions, the restaurant, is cozy and fun. Pretty much everything you’d want from a five-star hotel.

I was there for business, but I’d come back as a tourist. The sofa area is a lovely spot to relax with coffee and a book, and the breakfast buffet is amazing. Sunday Brunch and dinner at the Library bar were great too. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are really comfortable, and the staff are lovely and helpful. The facials were great, though the back massage hurt! Haha.

The front desk staff are professional and cordial, and the bar staff at Librarian are friendly and accommodating. The thin walls are a drawback, and in winter the room can feel like a sauna because you can’t control the temperature. Otherwise, it was good.

Helpful staff and a good breakfast made for a great stay. The one issue was that, due to recent unrest, visitors were completely barred from entering the hotel. If you want to meet up with people who aren’t staying there, you’ll need to make other arrangements. Aside from that, it’s a nice place to stay.
