River Palace Hotel

My first time in Atyrau was a wonderful stay. The customer service was excellent, and Mukhtar took great care of me.

I stayed here for business and found the staff flexible and cooperative, with the facilities kept in top condition. The gym and pool are top-notch, and the sauna and massage services are excellent. The restaurant menu could use some improvement.

The rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar are amazing, and the food is great too. Excellent hotel, with staff who are friendly and accommodating.

The cleaning, canteen, café and restaurant, and bar staff were all kind, respectful, and awesome. Dinner and breakfast were good, and I’ve heard their pizzas are the best among Atyrau restaurants. The riverside location is perfect for an evening walk. The building is old, though, and the AC is too noisy. The reception staff always seemed sleepy and unfriendly. When I asked questions, they said “probably” or “I guess,” and seemed unsure about the hotel’s services. The canteen supervisor was rude to me several times. At dinner during the summer roof pool opening event, he asked me to give up my table once I’d finished because guests were waiting. I was staying at the hotel and wanted to enjoy the event too, so I found that unacceptable. On Sunday morning I arrived with a client, and he said she wasn’t allowed to sit in the café unless she paid, even just to have coffee. He was rude and didn’t explain it properly.
