We picked up some meat for a BBQ, and the hotel staff were happy to help get the pit lit. There are things for kids too, including a tube slide, trampoline, and swing. The cottage felt warm and cosy at night. It's a lovely, quiet place at the end of the road, with plenty of privacy.

Getting our bags to the room by buggy was handy, and the staff replied to WhatsApp really quickly and were helpful. It's peaceful here, with lots of room for kids to run around and play in the snow, plus a tube slide. I'd come back if I'm in the area.

The cottages are cute and cosy, and the mountain views are gorgeous. It's a lovely escape from the city. But service fell short, and the food was disappointing. Since it's about 45 minutes from Almaty City with no shops nearby, it would help if facilities were better, for example, the kitchen closes after 8 pm.

The owners were so kind and gave us lots of useful information during our stay. The Aframe aqua was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was peaceful on arrival, even though it's only around 40 minutes by taxi from central Almaty. We stayed one night while travelling in Kazakhstan, and paying to use the hot tub/bath was lovely on a cold evening. My partner and I would highly recommend it.
