LaCasa Hotel

We stopped here for a break on our drive from Almaty to Burabay, after booking through Booking, and were pleasantly surprised to find such a tidy hotel by the highway. There was a sauna and pool, with a guest discount, and cooking facilities too. Our room was clean and supplied with towels, robes, and the rest of what we needed. Drinks, including an energy drink, were in the fridge; tea leaves and sugar were on the table with a kettle. The reception team welcomed us warmly, checked us in quickly, and explained everything.

Room 402 has its own terrace, and the beds are big and clean. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced, with a roomy parking lot close to the highway. The first-floor restaurant serves delicious food. There’s also a designated smoking area, conference room, sauna, and pool. The water pressure was a little weak.

We left early and couldn't try breakfast, but the receptionist recalculated the bill and took a little off the room rate. Thanks for that. It's a clean, quiet, cozy roadside place right by the highway, handy if you're traveling by car.

The roadwork made getting to the restaurant difficult, and we ended up walking. I know the restaurant can't control when construction happens, but guests booking a table should have been told about the hassle. Still, the food was delicious, the atmosphere and service were pleasant, and the restaurant is excellent. It's a bit far out if you live in the city.
