The restaurant really impressed us in the evening, and breakfast was lovely too. We stayed at Gloria Hotel for two days and found it clean, quiet, and peaceful. The staff made us feel welcome. Our beds were comfortable, with bright white linens and towels, and there were soft sofas in the hallways. Tea, coffee, water, air conditioning, and hot water were all there, just what a tired traveler needs. Thanks for having us. We'd gladly come back.

The biggest problem is how much sound carries. It feels like there's no wall between rooms: I could hear a neighbor snoring, taking slippers from a bag, packing, and even washing up after using the bathroom. Outside, the traffic light is next to the hotel, and the lively young people of Kostanay could be heard until 3 a.m. At least they sleep sometimes too 🤣. Otherwise, the hotel is nice, with renovated rooms, fresh bed linen, air conditioning, and a refrigerator.
