The cafeteria is fine if you stick mostly to salads and potatoes. I didn't try anything else. Although the hotel has non-smoking rooms, cigarette smell keeps coming through the ventilation. Staff work in the corridors from 7 a.m., making it impossible to sleep.

I only stayed because the other hotel near my job was full. There's cigarette smoke around, and I couldn't find any staff member who spoke English. When you pay for breakfast with the room, there are only six options, which gets tiresome if you stay more than a week. It was also hard to sleep with the cleaning staff and guests yelling all night. Drunk people were shouting nonstop while we had breakfast, and nobody seemed to care about the noise.

For only 7,000 tenge, we got a double room for 24 hours, which is great value. The place was spotless, and even the towels and bathrobes were sealed. Wi-Fi was good, room service was available any time with good food, and the service charge was just 10%. The staff spoke English well. Very good for the money.
