The rooms are spacious and the location is great. Things were as expected, though the staff have plenty of room to improve.

There's no kettle in the room, but otherwise I found the hotel quite comfortable. The English-speaking woman at reception handled all my tourist needs. I have no complaints and highly recommend the place.

The bed was fine, and check-in was friendly and easy. The location works well for Semey, and I like the hotel's name. Rooms are compact. I would've liked a complimentary bottle of water and a kettle for tea. There's no microwave or safe either.

The gym is a joke, with equipment that I believe dates from Soviet times. Breakfast was okay, but I felt cold at night. Rooms are small, and a decent window view is a matter of luck. Most face a wall or the backyard.
